Glenn Finlay, age 81, of Farmington, NM, passed away on January 5, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1944, in Cotton Valley, Louisiana to Andrew and Zella Finlay.
He excelled in all sports in High School, but baseball was his passion. After graduation, he was employed in heavy construction and lived all over the U.S. In 1981, he and his family moved to Farmington. Glenn pursued his career for Public Service Co. of NM at San Juan Generating Station until retirement in 2009.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, avid golfer, talented woodworker and wood carver.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda, and their son Brad. Also surviving are two sisters, Myrtis Modisette and Mary Porter of Louisiana.
There will be no services as per his request.
