Glenn R. Gilcrest, age 67, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Christian Northeast Hospital.
Glenn was born in
St. Louis, Missouri to Harold Gilcrest and Jennie Gilcrest (nee Cooke). Glenn married Margie S. Gilcrest (nee Jeffries) of
St. Louis, Missouri on May 29, 1982.
He is survived by his beloved wife, as well as his fur baby Milo; his brother Robert (Gail) Gilcrest, and niece Michelle (Doug) Farrand; his Brothers-in-Law Ted Jeffries and Earl Clipper, Sister-in-Law Judith Patrick, and many dear nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, his Mother and Father-in-Law Olen and Nina Jeffries, Sisters-in-Law Brenda Gould and Sally Clipper, Brother-in-Law Jimmy Jeffries, niece Melissa Stranger (nee Clipper), and fur babies Tawny, Dante, Nikita, and Smokey.
He was employed at KPMG, one of the top 4 accounting firms in the world, since February 2020. Glenn started at pharmaceutical college, but later pursued IT work, which he did for over 40 years. Some of his favorite hobbies were tennis, golfing, and riding motorcycles--but he loved his computers most of all. He'll always be remembered as the guy to go to when you had computer problems. Glenn loved his family and his fur babies, and will be missed by many.
