Glenn Goodwin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Hugo on Feb. 13, 2026.
Glenn Weldon Goodwin, 74, was born on August 18, 1951 in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Lee "Abe" Goodwin and Earie Ludener (Priddy) Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Goodwin and sisters, Linda Oakes and Glenda Marshall.

Glenn grew up in Bakersville, California. Together with his family, they moved to Ft. Towson in 1964, and he graduated from Ft. Towson High School in 1969. He later moved to Denton, Texas where he lived for many years and where he worked several different jobs throughout his life.

Glenn found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as a sunny day spent golfing or riding his bike around town. His passion for woodworking was not just a hobby but a thing he truly enjoyed, as he carefully crafted furniture for his home and for those he loved, each piece a reflection of his dedication and skill. Glenn's enthusiasm for life was matched only by his love for sports, especially his OU Boomer Sooners. A man of deep faith, Glenn always strived to be an example of the love and grace taught by his Savior. Glenn's legacy is one of love, faith, and dedication to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Amanda Baker and husband, Joseph of Little Elm, TX; grandchildren, Caylie Baker and Morgan Baker and brother, Bob Goodwin and wife, Gwendolyn of Sawyer, OK along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
