Glenn Gene McCune

Glenn Gene McCune, 72 of Smithers, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2012 at home. He was born on June 6, 1940. He was a loving father and grandfather. He always liked to cut up and joke. He always had a smile on his face even when times were hard. He worked as a laborer most of his life and was always around to help a friend. He was preceded in death his parents, Dan and Dorothy McCune; sister, Joyce Ann McCune, brother, Max McCune. Glenn is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Mallory McCune; brother, Kenneth McCune; sister, Ramona Adkins, both of South Charleston; sons, Glenn Short of Ohio, Paul McCune of South Charleston, Timothy McCune of South Charleston and Adam McCune of Scott Depot; daughters, Joyce McCune Midkiff of St. Albans, Cinna Carr of St. Albans, and Amy McCune of North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; care giver and companion Corrine Wright; as well as many other friends.
