Glenn Sheets Obituary

Glenn was born on September 13, 1928 and passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Glenn was a resident of Kokomo, Indiana at the time of his passing. Glenn was a graduate of Osgood High School. He served into the Army Infantry. He was married to Tleana. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday January 21 2016 at Shirley Stout Funeral Home Crematory 1315 West Lincoln Road Kokomo with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team followed by a Masonic Service with a celebration memorial service by Pastor Paul Enochs. According to his wishes after cremation a private burial will take place at a later date. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 pm until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukeâs United Methodist Church the Shriners Hospital in care of the Kokomo Shrine Club or IBN Saud Grotto.

Mr sheets I was a student and also coached by you in sports at Roosevelt . I was always thrilled to be in your presence . I looked at you as a father figure with love and great sadness I will always miss you.

Me sheets was my mentor my teacher 1961 Roosevelt school under his supervion I was capt of patrol I ran track for him Kokomo relays me and 3 others broke the record that day it still stands it has been 55 years he had nick names for special people. He called me Tom Tom I helped him with his rentals in the summer he would take me home to eat lunch at his home on n. Phillips I miss him he was like a father to us boys in his class room . Always a student a friend he was a mans man love Tom seward
