Glenn R. Spaulding Sr., 83, departed this life in the early morning hours of Sunday November 5th, 2023, in the presence of his loving family. Glenn was born the 10th of October, 1940, to the late Robert and Ina Spaulding. Glenn was a 1958 graduate of Glynn Academy. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy, and served on the U.S.S. Forrestal from 1958 to 1963.
He was a member of the Masonic Ocean Lodge #214 F & AM. He was also a member of the Brunswick shrine club, Alee Temple and was president of the buccaneers in 1981. Glenn met the love of his life in Atlanta in 1964, and they were married shortly after. Glenn and Sandra started their family in 1968 and went on to have five children. He started his building business, Superior Builders, in 1970, while also working with the international brotherhood of boilermakers local #26, retiring at age 62.
Glenn's fighting spirit and strength endured in 2014 carried him through a battle of cancer will never be forgotten.
Glenn enjoyed traveling with family, fishing, and visits with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Glenn was very passionate about his construction work and continued his work up until his death. He shared many laughs and loved to reminisce on his days of working on the road and as a sailor in the Navy

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, but especially to Mrs. Sandra, Glenn ,Stori , Stacie, Stephanie and Shaun.
I always knew him as "Big Daddy" when we were kids hanging out at their house on Parkwood and it did not matter who you were, if you were at his house, he treated you as if you were one of his own and if you acted up, you got in trouble just like you were his child:) If you every met him you knew right away how much he loved his entire family.
I pray for God's blessings and comfort during this time of sadness.
Much love,
Stacey (Outhwaite) Miller
