Glenna Mae Daugherty, passed away June 24, 2011. The Lord took home another precious mother. She was born September 1, 1934 on Briceville Mountain to Andrew and Mossie Patterson Daugherty. She loved her family and nature. She was a child of the Lord, loved going to church. Her favorite verse of the Bible was Psalms 23: "The Lord is my Sheppard, I shall not want. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He maketh me lie down in green pastures. He restoreth my soul". She is preceded in death by both parents and sister Claire Smith. Survivors include: Children: Raymond and Audrey Flickinger, Tammy and Johnny Brummett, Bernice and Wade Penley, Kathy Cridge, Bobby (Floyd) Kelley, Melanie and Laney Fox, Frankie Crowley, Wil Housley and Fiancee Angel Taylor Kesterson, Clecey and David Stitt. Brother Vaughn Daugherty. 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives. Viewing will be Sunday, June 26th from 2-4PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Graveside services will be Monday, June 27th at 1:00PM at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
