Glenna Fern (McLeod) Ivie, 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Riverdale, Utah, on October 6, 2024. She was born on April 11th, 1940, in Poughkeepsie, MO. Daughter of Oras W. and Winnie McLeod. She was one of 5 children. She married Richard Llyod Ivie on February 7, 1957. They had three children: David Richard Ivie. Joni (Steve) Peterson, Pamela (Scott) Fowers. Six grandchildren: Danielle, Aundrea, Nathaneal, Tyler, Katelyn, and Brooklyn; two great-grandkids: Rebel and Rowdy.
Glenna had a strong faith in God. She was filled with love and passion for sharing the love of Jesus. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandma. She left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved listening to gospel music, playing games, making popcorn, watching baseball, spending hours communicating through her iPad, and just spending time with her family. Her family was her greatest gift from God.
The family would like to thank Inspiration Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate and exceptional care.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband.
Graveside service will be held at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery at 1:00 PM, with a viewing prior starting at 12:00 PM. 10055 S State Street, Sandy, Utah 84070
