Glenna Reed, 80, of
Decatur, IL passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Glenna's life will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel.
Glenna was born on July 15, 1942 in
Decatur, IL, the daughter of Ross Miller and Ruby Miller Johnson. She was previously married to Larry Reed and Fred Dunaway. Glenna was a school teacher for one year in Hoopeston, IL and for 32 ½ years for Decatur Public School District. She also worked for Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home. She was a member of NEA, IEA and DEA.
Glenna is survived by her sons: Mark (Linda) Walbright of
Shelbyville, IL, Matthew Reed of
Decatur, IL and Brian (Lynn) Reed of Colorado; grandchildren: Brittany Walbright, David Walbright, Alex Walbright and Lily Reed; step-grandchild: Carmen; great grandchildren: Triston, Leah and Benia; step-great grandchild: Cohen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father: Paul Johnson and her beloved dogs: Holly, Bandit, Missy, Mike, Maggie, Sadie and Sadie Two.
