Gloria Marie Aldaz
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Gloria Marie Aldaz, 90, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her home in Lincoln, New Mexico. She was born on November 22, 1934, to Daniel and Juanita Gomez. Gloria married Tommy Edward Aldaz on March 26, 1949. They had three amazing children and built a home in Torres Ranch where families gathered, and reunions were held. A sanctuary for her children and grandchildren.
Gloria was not just a mother; she was the inspiration of generations. Her profound understanding of family bonds and heritage made her an uplifting presence in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Gloria enjoyed gardening and working outside at the Rancho, and if "the good lord was willing" attending every school sporting event across the state of New Mexico. She was also active in the Catholic church and lifted spirits with her beautiful voice in the choir for many years. One of her highlights was being able to embark on an incredible journey to Germany with her partner in crime Mandi. Gloria's quiet strength and steady presence inspired the lives of those around her, and her legacy will be deeply cherished by many.
Gloria leaves behind a loving family, Including her son, Adam Aldaz; daughter, Debbie Padilla (Jimmy); daughter- in- law, Stephanie Aldaz; grandchildren, Anita Gallegos (Marcelino), Melanie Smith (Larry), Tommy Aldaz (Tina) and Mandi Aldaz; great-grandchildren, Gage Whipple, Chloe Whipple, Gabiel Gallegos (Lauren Minor), Haven Whipple, Diego Gallegos (Jasmine), Alicia Roybal, Jacob Smith, William Padilla, and Angelo Aldaz; great-great-grandchild Caysen Whipple; sister, Dora Sandoval
