Gloria S. "Honey" Alminde

Gloria S. Alminde, also known as Honey, from Haddon Twp.; Franklin Square, Glendora; Oakland Gardens, Oaklyn; and Plaza Place, Runnemede, NJ, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025. Age 92.
Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred Jones (Pinkstone). Devoted and loving mother of Dawn Molloy (Michael), Cheryl Datz (Jeffrey), Mark Alminde (Lisa Borreggine), mother-in-law of Nancy Alminde-Norbeck, and stepmother of the late Karl Alminde III (Erna). Loving grandmother of Matthew Molloy (Kim), Britny Francis (Gregg), Audrey McCabe (Bryan), Gregory Datz, Nathan Datz (Emilia), Tammie Alamo, Lara Alminde, Dana Mertz (Shane), Elizabeth Turner (George), Mark Alminde Jr., Elisabeth Ruff, Samantha Ruff. Beloved sister of Robert Jones (Shirley) and the late Thomas Jones, Mildred Patterson, Charles Jones, and Dorothy Wolfe. Also survived by many great-grandchildren with one on the way, nieces, nephew, and friends.
When Gloria was a young girl, she was known to skip homework to go roller skating. She was a hard worker and dedicated employee at Rose Cleaners in Runnemede for over 30 years. Later in life, she spent many hours "down the hall" with her friends and fellow residents at Franklin Square. She was abundantly proud of her family, enjoyed game shows, her morning coffee, and everything chocolate. Gloria was a longtime member of Chews United Methodist Church and a woman of strong faith in God.
Her sense of humor, beautiful smile, and selfless heart will be missed by all who knew her.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ.
Service will begin at 11:00am.
Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Rt.-130N, Riverton, NJ 08077.
