Gloria Nunes Anjos, 99, of Orange passed away on August 11, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home. Loving mother of Maria Nascimento of Orange. Grandmother of Elisa and Mario Nascimento. Sister of Connie Medeiros of Orange, Maria (Valdemar) Cardoso of Woodbridge, Gracinda (Manuel) Reis of New Haven and the late Barbara and Ilda Reis and Domingos Nunes. Mother-in-law of the late Jose N. Nascimento. Gloria was born in Chaves, Portugal on April 4, 1923 daughter of the late Jose and Amelia Palhares Nunes. Prior to her retirement Gloria was a seamstress for the former Char-Len Hand Bag Company.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven, WEDNESDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in Orange Center Cemetery. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 5pm to 8pm. Sign Gloria's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net.
