Gloria Carlin Obituary
Ann grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Harding High School. She went on to build a meaningful and devoted career as an X-Ray Technician, working in numerous hospitals where her steady compassion and professionalism touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues.
After spending 17 years in Colorado, Ann made her home in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she lived for over 30 years. Scottsdale is where she truly settled into the rhythms she loved most: the creativity of quilting and crocheting, the joy of collecting fine art pieces and paintings, and the comfort of a home filled with beauty, craft, and warmth.
One of Ann's greatest joys was staying closely connected to her family. Even when she couldn't travel back to Oklahoma for the holidays, she cherished calling in on Christmas Eve, listening to the laughter, and taking part in the celebration as the phone was passed from one loved one to another. These calls became a cherished tradition-an annual reminder of the deep bonds she held with her family.
Ann will be remembered for her artistic spirit, her gentle heart, and the way she wove love into every part of her life-through her work, her crafts, her home, and her relationships. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ann is survived by her brother; Kent Carlin and wife Margie; Nephews, Rick Carlin and wife Debbie, Scott Carlin and wife Susan, Mark Carlin and wife Holly, Armand Paliotta and wife Amanda; Great Nephews & Nieces, Trey Carlin and wife Ashley - their son Vann, Kelsey Diaz and husband Daniel- their children, Danyelia, Esteban, Charlotte, and Aubrey, Courtney Maine and husband Izec - their children, Rustyn, Elizabeth, Brentley, Kameron, Khloey, and Conley, Chase Carlin and wife Chloe, McKenzie Carlin and fiancé Spencer Stewart, Bryce Carlin, Josh Paliotta and wife Sarah; and a host of other friends and family.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph Richard Carlin and Gloria (Smith) Carlin, and Niece, Michelle Paliotta.
