Gloria Jean Clarke, 76, passed away in Lake Worth, Texas on Friday December 30, 2022 after a lengthy battle with COPD.  She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Gloria was born to John Gill and Freda Jewls Terreo on September 6, 1946 in West Virginia.  While she enjoyed many things in life, her family meant the most to her and she enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible. Gloria was the heart and soul of the family. Her life was spent caring for others, working to provide all that one could need and uplifting those around her.  In her down time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching the beautiful butterflies in wilderness and indulging in her sweet tooth of chocolate. Her heartwarming presence will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Gill and Freda Jewls Terreo.

Those left behind to cherish her loving memory are her daughters Dianna Toler and Danielle Shamblin: her sons Christopher Clarke and Michael Clarke; her 10 grandchildren; her 18 great grandchildren; her siblings Chuck Gill, Larry Gill and Donna Fuller; Along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends. Her presence can be seen in the legacy she has left behind and her love for her family endures forever more.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the COPD Foundation. Donations can be made at copdfoundaion.org/donate
