Gloria Davison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria June (Moyers) Davison, age 75, of Park Hills. Gloria passed away on December 22, 2024.

Gloria was born on March 9, 1949, in Fredericktown, to the late Arthor and Edith June Moyers. She graduated from Farmington High School and built a lifelong career with Flat River Glass Company, where she worked until her well-earned retirement.

Known for her radiant smile and her ability to spread love wherever she went, Gloria brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. She had a passion for cooking, with her famous dumpling recipe becoming a cherished family tradition. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her loved ones, creating memories that will last forever.

Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her children, Larry Dean Politte and Dawn (Justin) Skiles; her brother, Gary (Kathy) Moyers; and her beloved grandchildren: Codie (Marie), Ellie, and Maximus Umfleet; Gaige Politte (fiancée Jennifer Yost); Ashley and Kenneth Mahurin; and Klayton, Bailey, and

Carley Skiles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Davison; her mother, Edith June (Moyers) White; her father, Arthor Moyers; her brothers, Carl, Paul, and Danny Moyers; and her dear friend, Gary Copher.

Gloria’s family will forever treasure the memories of her kindness, her unwavering love, and her bright spirit. The world is undoubtedly a little less bright without her, but her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on December 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
