Gloria Marlene Blackwell née Eisner, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Addison. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Robert Blackwell. Loving mother of Kathleen Blackwell and Michael Blackwell. Dear sister of Richard (the late Sharon) Eisner. Preceded in death by siblings Dolores (Charles) Kufrin, Marlou (Robert) Madison, Arline Haas, Raymond Eisner, Robert (Barbara) Eisner, Walter Eisner Jr., sister-in-law Judy Martin and parents Walter and Frieda née Wolff Eisner. Also survived by sister-in-law Ruth Lund, many nieces and nephews, and long-time friend Barbara Bernhardt.
An avid animal lover, Gloria treasured her family and pet cats. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, reading, shopping, and a good coffee klatch, along with a fascination of British Royalty.
Private family services have been held.
