Gloria Harvest Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 26, 2025.
Gloria May Harvest was born on January 19th, 1946 in Manchester, Jamaica. She passed away on December 18th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her Father, Frederick Crawford and Mother Mabel Crawford; and is survived by her son Rohan Leslie.

Gloria loved singing and in her early teenage years recorded a song in Jamaica, 'Sad Movies' by Gloria Crawford. Because her mother was a very strict parent, Gloria did not disclose this to her mom. Surprisingly, the song was a hit and is still accessible on YouTube. Although she received no royalties over the years, she always made sure everyone knew that about her. Gloria was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and actively participated in Church for most of her life. Gloria, lived in New York, Arkansas, Florida, and Texas. In 2017 she was diagnosed with dementia, which she eventually succumbed to in December 2025. Gloria retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse and loved her career in Nursing. Although dementia got the best of her over the years and she had to be involuntary placed in an Assisted Living/Nursing Facility; she always had a positive spirit and although a patient, she told everyone she was a Nurse at that facility. Gloria is sorely missed!
