Today we remember Gloria Sanchez-Flores Lopez, born to Lupe and Humberto Sanchez on June 28, 1944 in Kenedy, Texas. She went to be with our Lord on October 28, 2023. She is remembered as a beloved wife of 27 years, a devoted mother, loving sister-in-law, a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and a wonderful friend. She loved traveling with her husband Rodolfo Lopez Pastrana to Mexico and visiting with family. She had a passion for dancing, gardening and baking. We all loved her famous cheese cake and tamales. She loved our family gatherings, we are going to miss her tremendously.
Gloria's personality touched the hearts of the many who knew her. She had a gift of bringing laughter into people's lives and a positive impact on everyone around her. My mother was an LVN nurse for many years, and had a passion for helping others. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Angels Parish.
