Gloria Marcowitz, née Kaplan, 96, beloved wife of the late Harry Marcowitz, happily married for 30 wonderful years; loving mother of Robert Zeman (Yvonne DeCuir); cherished Nana of Shira Zeman (Adon deGuzman), Merissa and Corinne Zeman; much loved great-grandmother of Shai; treasured friend of many. Gloria was a dedicated teacher, who was very fond of her former students, and stayed in touch with them for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's honor may be made to Hadassah North Shore, www.hadassah.org/region/chicago-north-shore. Chapel service Monday, December 8, 2025, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment following at Shalom Memorial Park, Beth Shearim Mausoleum.
