Gloria A. Micciche (née Strimel) passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 85, with her family by her side. Born on January 11, 1940, to William and Thelma Strimel of Essington, PA, Gloria married the love of her life, Peter Micciche, on October 25, 1958. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 66 years of marriage. Gloria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful Catholic, an avid sewer, and had a true passion for shopping. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren-taking them to toy stores, Grotto Pizza, arcades on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, and playing their favorite games. A longtime resident of Morton, PA, Gloria and Peter retired to Ocean View, DE, where they spent the last 30 years enjoying life together. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Micciche; loving mother of Lisa McGraw (Philip), Peter Micciche, and the late Lawrence Micciche; and cherished grandmother of Aaron McGraw, Jena McGraw, Bryce Micciche (Cecilia), Christopher Micciche, Mason Micciche, Quinn Micciche, and the late Kile Micciche. Gloria was also the proud great-grandmother of Adalynn Micciche and Jettsyn Micciche. She is survived by her dear siblings Rosemary Greto, William Strimel, and Alena Beningno (John), along with many loving nieces and nephews. Gloria will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude’s the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro, DE, 19939. Please sign the virtual guestbook located on the tribute page. FLORIST NOTE: PLEASE DELIVER ALL ARRANGEMENTS BY 3:00 PM ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025, TO OUR LEWES LOCATION.
