Gloria McCarter Navy

We have known Gloria for many years. We were both a part of St. James United Methodist Church before it closed. Then one day we saw each other at the YMCA and we shared out love for reading. I asked if she would like to join our Assurance UMC book club. That began a closer friendship. I loved her wit and her love of people. She was always happy to help with last minute meal preparations or clean up for our meetings. She loved her family and talked of going to baseball games and other activities. We miss you Gloria but you are now at peace and suffering no more. See you again one day.
