Gloria Paine

Gloria Jean Paine, 88, of Rochester, MN died on Friday January 23, 2026, at her residence. Gloria was born on October 23, 1937, in Rochester to Raymond and Ethel (Waldron) Hicks. She grew up in Rochester where she attended school, graduating from Rochester Central High School in 1955. Gloria then moved to St. Paul for modeling school and later returned to Rochester and worked for Rochester Dairy with her father, and that is where she met her future husband. Gloria was united in marriage to Jack Paine on June 11, 1960, in Rochester, where the couple made their home. She later worked at IBM for nineteen years.

Gloria enjoyed reading, cooking, and shopping, she also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Sue Kirckof, grandchildren Adam (Jena) Kirckof and Katie Kirckof (Tom Speer), and her great grandchildren Cameron, Lola, Jonathan, and Marshal.

A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 28, 2026, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW), visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood East Cemetery.
