MAYSVILLE — Gloria Ann (Davis) Harding Rice, 91, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1933, to the late John N. and Irene (Breckinridge) Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Leon Rice and her former husband, George W. Harding, II.

She is survived by her daughter, Freda (Jerry) Meriwether of Lexington; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild; two sisters, Virginia Davis and Wanda Davis; and three brothers, Wayne Davis, Winn O. Davis, and William L. Davis.

She was preceded in death by five brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at Washington Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. on Monday at the church.
