Gloria Scharlack Obituary
Mrs. Scharlack worked for the Town of Canterbury as a school bus driver, for 48 years, transporting 4 generations of students.
Gloria, along with her friends, started the Canterbury Athletic Association in the 70s.
Gloria is survived by two sons, Robert (Mary) Scharlack, Jr., and Roger (Cathy) Scharlack; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Franklyn Scharlack.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Dean Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow in the Finnish Hall, 76 N. Canterbury Rd, Canterbury, CT. Cremation services have been entrusted to Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home, Plainfield, CT. For memorial guestbook visit www.DoughertyBrosFuneralHome.com.
