GLORIA D. SCOTT 86 was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 7, 1939, to the late Shelton and Pauline (nee Jewell) Scott.
Gloria was a cherished member of the L'Arche Cleveland community for the past 35 years and became somewhat of the Matriarch of the community. Her genuine, caring, and welcoming spirit was a light to those around her. She had a knack for telling stories and making others laugh, which is the legacy she leaves behind. Gloria took a special interest in other's lives and truly cared about their wellbeing. It was remarkable how she remembered every little detail. On occasion, Gloria enjoyed an adult beverage with her friends and time spent listening to Motown and Aretha Franklin. Though her passing on December 12, 2025, comes with great sadness, her spirit and laughter live on in the memories we hold dear.
Gloria leaves behind her sons, Bernard (Cynthia) Scott and Donald Scott; grandchildren, Bernard, Shelina, Darnell, Dontrell, Shay, and Donita; 4 great-grandchildren; housemates, Lisa, Brenda, and Janet; special friend, Pat.
