Gloria Lynne Shearer, 78, passed away on November 4, 2024.
Gloria was born on March 3, 1946, in Elkhart, Indiana to Frederick and Mildred (nee Fosdick) Hawkins.
Gloria was a member of the Senior Coalition of West Chester, where she enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Gloria enjoyed many different arts and crafts including painting, pottery, ceramics and macrame. She was an avid plant lover growing African Violets.
Gloria was a foodie and would go to lunch a few times a week with her girlfriends, she loved a good glass of wine with a nice meal and the company of good friends.
Most of all Gloria loved her grandchildren, she became a fan of Lakota West Football when her grandson’s played and always attended when she could.
Gloria is survived by her children, son Scott Shearer and daughter Michelle (Brent) Phelan. Grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Phelan, Aaron (Christa) Phelan, Alyssa Phelan and Anthony Phelan. Great Grandchildren: Quinn, McKenna and Rowan Phelan. Gloria is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl “Tim” Shearer and her son Bobby Shearer.
Visitation for Gloria will be held on Monday November 11, 2024, at Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Road, Mason OH 45040) at 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30AM with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers you may make memorial donations to Hope Fur Pet Rescue (www.hopefurpets.com), Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org), or the Senior Coalition of West Chester (7004 Inverary Court, West Chester, Ohio 45069).
