Gloria Tearman Obituary
Gloria met Daniel B. Wright of Wonewoc, WI, and they married in Menomonie, MI, in 1957. Together, they raised three children: Denny (Susan) Wright, Donna Wright Westlind, and Laura Wright (Mitch) Baker. After their divorce, Gloria earned a Clerk Typist Degree from Blackhawk Technical Institute in 1987. She worked in various roles, including ten years as a Catalog Mailing List Representative at Lab Safety Supply.
In 1989, Gloria met George H. Tearman II, and they were married on May 5, 1990, in Janesville, WI. They shared many happy years together until his passing in 2023. Her former husband, Dan Wright, also preceded her in death later that year.
Gloria loved visiting casinos with George, attending local events, and signing up for giveaways-once even winning a car! A skilled seamstress, she sewed clothes for her daughters and made stuffed animals for each of her children. A devout Catholic, earlier in life while raising her children, Gloria was deeply involved in prayer meetings and proudly attended a few Catholic women's retreats.
Family was at the center of Gloria's life. She cherished Christmases with her large family, capturing every gathering in treasured photographs.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bertrum "Petey" Banford Harvey Rabuck; sister, Delores Fischer; husband, George; former husband, Dan; and beloved family dog, Snoopy.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses; two sisters, Roberta Bellomo and Betty (Marv) Burns; nine grandchildren: Marcia (Joel) Galvan, Kristina (Jason) Price, Caylei (Chris Moccero) Wright, Nathaniel (Emma Kane) Wright, Paul Fetting II, Annett (Robert) Rogers, Samantha (David) Zrout, Ryan (Katie) Fetting, and Sarah (Wyatt "Wylee" Waggoner) Baker; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Gloria's memory will live on in those who loved her.
Visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 starting at 9:00AM until 11:00AM with Funeral Service to follow. Burial will be held at a Greenwood Cemetery following Funeral Service
