Gloria was a visionary and a leader for children and families. She felt that every child deserved a permanent home. She developed laws and rules in the State of Florida to insure that happened. She was a mentor and leader to others to take forward her vision. I was lucky to have been one of those. Her positive impact on the lives of so many cannot be measured. Thank you Gloria.

Gloria and I first met at the newly constructed Griffin Jr. High School in 7th grade. There was a bond between us that never faded. Upon completing 12th grade at Lincoln High School, we matriculated to FAMU. Gloria was one of the most kind and loving persons I knew. She had a love for my daughter and my daughter loved her. Gloria loved her family dearly, especially her nieces and nephews. We often shared memories of our little ones. I will miss you my dear friend. There is no pain Heaven cannot heal and I shall always remember you. Rest in peace my friend!

Gloria and I met upon entering 7th grade at the newly constructed Griffin Jr. High School. Upon our first meeting a bond was established and we remained very good friends. She had a fondness for my daughter, granddaughter, and grandson. Through the many years we maintained a friendship that was steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding. We shared many memories of my daughter, grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. I will truly miss her. To her family I extend my sincere condolences.
