WEBER, Gloria A beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully, on April 20, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers. Gloria's early years were shaped at the Woodward School for Girls in Quincy and the Chandler School. Crowned Miss Quincy in 1950, her outer beauty reflected the vibrant spirit and warmth that defined her. In her youth, she began a career in fashion modeling, where her grace and elegance drew admiration from many. In time, she met Dr. Alfred Weber, who brought renewed joy and partnership into her life. As they traveled to over 50 countries through his medical work, Gloria embraced global cultures and created a rich tapestry of memories that she brought home to her family-especially through her love of cooking and hosting. Gloria was a gifted singer and pianist, often filling her home with music and joy. She was also active in the Boston University Women's Club and the Harvard Medical Women's Auxiliary, where she built enduring friendships and offered her time generously. Her life was marked by compassion, thoughtfulness and creativity. Gloria's legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her values of love, kindness and grace. She was everyone's favorite Nana-present for every milestone, cheering from the front row and always ready with a kind word or a war hug. Gloria modeled more than clothes-she modeled a life of faith, warmth and unwavering generosity. Her love was the heart of her family, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew her. Visiting Hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., MILTON, on Thursday, May 1, from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Agatha Parish, Milton, on Friday, May 2, at 10:00 AM, with Burial to follow at Milton Cemetery.
