Glyndora Justice Akers, age 68, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the Highlands ARH Hospital in Prestonsburg, Ky. She was born on July 3, 1956 to her parents Helen Damron Justice and the late Bobby Lee Justice. She was the wife of the late Wade Akers, a caregiver, and a believer of the christian faith.
Along with her mother, Glyndora is survived by one daughter, Breann (Matthew) Boyd, one son, Daniel Akers, four grandchildren, Cameron Wheeler, Trenton Stanley, Kyleigh Boyd, Phoenix Boyd, one brother, Gregory (Jennie) Justice, nephews: Mitchell (Adrienne) Justice & Adam Justice, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Burnin White officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery at Dana, Ky.
