He is survived by his fiance, Donna Robichaux; mother, Linda M. Troulliet (Nolan); sons, Glynn J. Matherne III, Micheal J. Matherne, David J. Matherne; stepsons, Ty A. Lodrigue and William K. Pellegrin; sisters, Ida (Lynn) Parfait and Tina Pellegrin; grandchildren, Oliver T. Matherne and Nyla M. Pellegrin; Godchildren, Tabitha Matherne, Makayla LeBlanc, and Waylon Arceneaux; nephews and nieces, Lynn (Savanna) Parfait Jr., Kameron (Kayli) Parfait, Angelle Parfait, Mckenzie, Mckinley, and Chris Pellegrin Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glynn Joseph Matherne Sr.; paternal grandparents, Albert Matherne Sr. and Malvina Galliano Matherne Trahan; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Florestine "Got" Lodrigue; brother-in-law, Chris Pellegrin, Sr..
He worked as a level II inspector, a devoted hard worker and the life of the party. He was super loving, energetic, and a caring person. He was a dedicated New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan.
He was a rider for Krewe of Hercules on the Booze Brothers Float.
His love for his family and his sports teams was phenomenal. He would do almost anything for anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back. Tat Too was the man to bring joy to all who came around him.
