Glynnis Cross Tindall, aged 62, of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Wellstar Spalding Hospital. Born on November 13, 1963, in Spalding County, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of Amos Martin Cross and Ruby Lee Green Cross. Glynnis was a cherished homemaker whose life was a testament to her love for her family, her faith, and the simple joys of life.
A woman of many talents and passions, Glynnis will be remembered for her love of the outdoors. She found solace and joy in her garden, tending to her plants with the same care and dedication she gave to every aspect of her life. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and family gatherings were always made more special with her delicious home-cooked meals. Glynnis's hands were rarely still, as she crafted warmth both literally and figuratively through her quilting, creating beautiful pieces that will be treasured for generations. Her love for her animals spoke volumes about her compassionate heart and nurturing spirit. Glynnis worked for many years in the optical field until 2011, when she decided to retire from the workforce.
Glynnis's faith in the Lord was a cornerstone of her existence. She lived her life with grace and conviction that inspired all who knew her. Her love for her family was boundless, and she was a source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love.
Left to honor Glynnis and remember her love are her devoted husband of 40 years, Dennis Tindall; her sons, Jesse Collyer Tindall, Lucas Wayne Tindall, and Justin Liles-Tindall (Dillon); her adored grandchildren, Madison Lee Parrish, Jordan Chase, Justin Chase, Lucas W. Tindall, Jr, and Levi Collyer Tindall. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers, Gerald and Joel Cross; her sister, Nancy Branch (Gary); and her several cherished nieces.
Glynnis's legacy is one of love, passion, and friendliness. She approached life with an open heart and a welcoming smile, always ready to extend a hand of friendship or a word of encouragement. Her presence was a comfort and her laughter a balm to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the chapel, where Pastor Steven Norris will officiate.
Glynnis Cross Tindall's memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit, characterized by her loving nature, her passion for life, and her friendly demeanor, will continue to be a guiding light for her family and friends. She has left an indelible mark on this world, and while she will be dearly missed, the beauty of her life will forever be celebrated.
