Gonzalo H. Ingle passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 27, 2025. Born in San Antonio, Texas, to Gonzalo and Mary Ingle, he joined the U.S. Air Force at 19. After his service, he began his career at the historic Gunter Hotel, leading to more than 25 successful years in the hotel industry. His work later took him to Mexico, where he worked with the Mexican government to promote tourism.
Gonzalo was known for his love of golf, colorful style-never wearing gray or brown-his passion for travel, and his devotion to his family and dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Gary, and sisters Yolanda, Debbie, and Rosemary. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni; children Phyllis (Stephen), Liz (Bill), Kenneth, and Mark (Sylvia) with former wife Frances; and Stefanie (Louis) and Michael (Amy) from his second marriage. He also leaves behind his brother Manuel, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
