Rev. Dr. Gordon H. Andersen

Rev. Dr. Gordon H. Andersen, born on December 11, 1941, passed unexpectedly in his home in Plymouth's Meeting, Pennsylvania on October 8, 2025. Gordon was the beloved husband of Marietta Andersen (nee Rowland). He was a loving father to the late Susan Andersen and grandfather to Morgan Sonnabaum, Declan Hoch, and Claire Hoch. Gordon was known for his sharp wit and booming laugh. He earned his doctorate in theology and served God as an American Baptist minister for a significant period of his life. Gordon was a creative soul who loved painting and caning chairs. He was inquisitive, open-minded, and never met a stranger, only new friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and community. His interment will be a private event.
