Gordon Giles Obituary
Mr. Giles was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on September 18, 1932, to the late Emmett S. Giles and Christine Pigg Giles. He was a graduate of GMC and a life-long resident of Milledgeville. He worked in the wholesale business for over 40 years and was the owner of City Wholesale for over 26 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Dent Giles and his brother William Emmitt "Billy" Giles.
Survivors include two sons Gordon R. Giles, Jr. (Cindy) and David W. Giles (Laura) of Milledgeville, grandchildren Kacie Milholen (Wesley), Chris Giles (Rebecca), Grant Giles and Megan Giles, great grandchildren Macie and Mollie Milholen, Lucy, Austin and Charlotte Giles, and a nephew Randy Giles.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
