Kent and Sharon Bancroft

November 10, 2025

Gordon was our dear friend, pastor, mentor since being Kent´s pastor his senior year of high school and remembering all the visitations to us in Valentine, parking their airstream in our driveway, then going to farmponds to do some fishing and frying the fish right there on the spot. Remembering memories with Gordon and Marie in the harvest fields at the Bancroft´s. Gordon sang at our wedding which was on October 30th and was our 60th anniversary this year! Wow what a memory to remember that long!!!! BLESSINGS TO EACH OF YOU from Kent and Sharon Bancroft in Valentine, Nebraska

"Gordon loved children, and this was evident not only in his devotion to Doug, but also to his granddaughters, great grandchildren and the many now adults who first met him as young people in the churches he pastored." This was taken from Gordon's obituary. I am one of the young people in the church he pastored in Dalton Nebraska. He and Marie are my favoorite pastors. My entire family remained a close relationship with Gordon and Marie overat least the last 65 years and more. We were all privileged to see him just in July and I'm so thankful for that time. I will miss my pastor but will one day join him in heaven.
