Gordon Kirk Harp, son of the late Thurman Clayton Harp and Elizabeth Warman Harp, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Kirk was born on October 9, 1959, at Camp Lejeune U.S. Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina. On September 10, 1983, he married Evona Mae (Beck) Roberts with whom he shared 23 years of marriage until her passing in 2006.
Kirk was an avid outdoorsman who felt most at home walking along creeks, fishing, and collecting rocks.
Kirk is survived by his sisters, K. Susie Webb, Tracy West and Joy "Kat (Jerry) Huffman; stepmothers, Wilma Campbell and Joy Fryman; nieces, Megan (Scott) Geisinger, Summer Molen (Robert Shelton, Jr.), Kristen Smith (Ottis Goodman), Cheyene (Jordan) Taylor, Debbie Godsey and Janet Kidd; nephews, Chris (Sarah) Webb, Ryan Huffman, Wayneth Molen (Jill Keith), Dakota Molen, Colton (Bailey) Smith, Skyer Godsey and Isaiah Godsey; great-nieces and nephews, Knox Webb, Harper and Kennedy Geisinger, Skylynne, Kyson, Graylen, Riverlynn Shelton, Nathaniel and Mason Frye, Cayden Godsey and Jeremiah Chapman; and special friends, Carla Daniel, Adrian Lyons, Steve Hall, Willaim Duncan, Leo Duncan, Beth Dalton, Cierra Purcell, David Kramer, and Jackie Henderson.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, wife, as well as Vincent Fryman, Quilla Roberts, Omeda Molen, Anthony (Tony) Molen, Angela Ridner, Michael Godsey and Jerome Minnick.
A service celebrating Kirk's Life will take place at the family's convenience in Somerset, Kentucky. His chosen final resting place will be in Newmarket, Ohio.
