I mourn the passing of my brother. We shared not only an upbringing in Edinburgh, but the Christian faith we both came to embrace in our late teens. Also the firm belief that "the souls of believers are at their death made perfect in holiness, and do immediately pass into glory, and their bodies, being still united to Christ, do rest in their graves till the resurrection."
I attach a picture I took in 2008 of my brother standing outside an impressive doorway of his old school, George Heriot's in Edinburgh.
