Gordon Dean Robinson, age 89 of Gallatin, TN, passed away September 21, 2023. Mr. Robinson was born November 13, 1933 in Macon County, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Earl and Minnie Johns Robinson, brother, Follis Robinson; sisters, Kathleen Womack, Joyce Reneau and Magalene Wilburn. He is survived by his loving wife, of 67 years, Ann Lacy Robinson; son, Brian Robinson (Cindy); daughter, Lisa Douglas (Steve); grandchildren, Hannah Johnson (Max), Callaway Robinson, Emma Robinson, Tyler Douglas (Jordan), Olivia Giragos (Austin) and great grandson, Landon Giragos.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 26th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Stephen Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens with Tony Robinson, David Wilburn, Max Johnson, Callaway Robinson, Tyler Douglas and Austin Giragos serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, September 25th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 26th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Robinson served in the U. S. Army. He retired after 26 years from Alladin Industries then worked 10 years for Belltronics. Also, he was co-owner of Piccadilly Corner. Mr. Robinson was a member of Old Union Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and played in a bowling league. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and best father-in-law. He will be remembered as a great family man.
