Gordon Sutter Obituary

Gordon Sutter, loving husband and father, died peacefully Sunday, December 14, 2025. Gordon is survived by his caring wife of 47 years, Michelle Sutter; and his three daughters, Jennifer Bowen (Brian), Darcie Sutter, and Molly Hott (Joel). Gordon passed to reunite with his immediate family, who preceded him in death. This includes his parents, Anna Mae and Henry R. Sutter Jr.; and his four siblings, Herbert Sutter (Mary), Sandy Ross (Mike), Donna Wilson, and Lynn Sutter. Gordon has a remaining living sibling, Darlene LoBue (Jack). Gordon served in the Army with an honorable discharge. He spent 30 years as an IUEC elevator technician working proudly for Otis Elevator company until his retirement. Gordon stayed busy with hobbies he loved, including gardening, puzzling, baking, and building bird houses. He shared these interests with Michelle and they could often be found doing them together. Gordon's greatest joy came from his time as a grandfather to eight grandchildren: Mackenzie, Brooks, Keegan, DJ, Scotlynn, Brooklynn, Emily and Kingston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be a private family memorial. Donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
