Gordon Howard Valine

Gordon Valine, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at WVU Wheeling Hospital. He was born on November 30, 1946 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Charlie and Marjorie (Steele) Valine.
Gordon was a 1964 graduate of Flushing High School. He was an Army Vietnam veteran.Gordon was a member of the VFW and the American Legion post #168. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and Cleveland Browns fan, and he also liked NHRA racing. Gordon enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Bryanna Farnesworth.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Teresa Valine; a daughter, Cyndi Elliott; a son, Justin (Aleah) Valine; two grandsons, Derick (Courtney) Valine and AJ Valine; several great grandchildren; siblings, Chris (Kathy) Valine, Margaret (Randy) Wallace; sister-in-law, Tammy (Danny) Ewing; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2:00pm until the time of the Military Service at 4:00 pm conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association. A Memorial Service will follow with Mike Reeves officiating. Gordon's care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
