Grace E. Eirschele , age 79, of Waukesha, WI, passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, February 21, 1946, daughter of Leo and Etta (Tompkins) Schwass. (Born as Gracetta, she preferred to be called Grace).
Grace attended grade school in Caldwell, WI. and then Mukwonago Union High school from which she graduated in 1964. She was a volunteer at The USO club in Milwaukee and a member of Eastern Star. Grace loved traveling and exploring new things. Grace married her best friend Leslie D. Eirschele on 6/4/1973. Together they lived in a number of locations including Nevada, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Her friends and neighbors fondly remember Grace from when she had a home on Pewaukee Lake. After retirement, Grace became a condominium owner at Clock Tower Condominiums where she continued to make many more new friends and enjoy her new lifestyle.
Grace is survived by her treasured brother, Charles (Carol) Schwass; nephew, Chris (Renee) Schwass; and niece, Andrea (Mark) Zukor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo (1968) and Etta (1993) Schwass; her sister, Jessie Louise Schwass (2001); her beloved husband, Les Eirschele (~2016); daughter, Heather Burkhart (2017); and son, Chuck Eirschele (2025).
A celebration of life will be held at Clocktower Condominiums at 100 E Main St Waukesha , WI. Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
