Grace Edwards Evers

Grace Edwards Evers, 81, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at her home. Ms. Evers was preceded in death by her husband, D. J. Evers, her parents, Andrew and Addie Russ Edwards, one grandson, Eddy Dowless, III, four brothers, C. F. Edwards, Ed Edwards, Jake Edwards and her twin brother, Grady Edwards, five sisters, Myrtle Ray, Leta Hughes, Neta Blizzard, Vera Westbrook and Ava Grey Allen. She is survived by one son, Edward Merle Evers and wife Cindy of Bladenboro; three daughters, Jan Thomas and husband Renn of Elizabethtown, Karen Pait and husband Gary of Bladenboro and Pamela Evers Morris of Bladenboro; one sister, Melba Jean Bridger of Laurinburg; eight grandchildren, David, Michael and Robert Evers, Timothy Thomas, Hillary Register, Tammy Pait, Brittany Griffin and Alexis Hurst; seven great grandchildren , Christopher and Amanda Evers, Skyler Register, Caleb and Ethan Thomas and Natalie and Caleb Griffin. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home and at other time at the home, 826 James Pait Road, Bladenboro. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Pentecostal Faith of God in Lumberton with Rev. Russell Kinlaw and Rev. Andrew Smith officiating. Burial will follow at New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro.
