Grace A. Ferguson, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2026. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 22, 1933 to the late Ira and Bertha Rawdon. Grace was a resident of the Barberton area for the most of her life. Grace retired from Ruhlin Construction after many years of excellent service. She attended Crusade Baptist Church in Copley. Grace belonged to a Scrabble League in Canton and continued playing Scrabble till recently. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making clothing, drapes and award winning Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mandle in 1974; eight siblings and two great-great-grandchildren.Grace is survived by her children, Deborah (Larry) Smith, Gary (Kristine) Ferguson, Linda Hunsicker and Cathy (Troy) Baker; grandchildren, Shelli, Daniel, Melissa, Zachary, Jonathan, McKenzie, Benjamin, Morgan and Matthew; six great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patty Rawdon and Linda Hine; sister-in-law, Barbara Rawdon; along with many special nieces, nephews and friends. Her family would like to send a thank you to the "Special Angels on Earth" at Pleasant View Nursing Home for the excellent care, love and support they provided to Grace and her family for the years she had spent there. Grace's funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Pastor Justus Snow officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of her service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crusade Baptist Church, 2982 Copley Road, Akron, Ohio 44321.
