Grace Medlin Goss

Grace M. Goss Pickens Grace Medlin Goss, 85, of Dunn Drive, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home. Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Joseph Harley and Theny Q. Landers Medlin, Mrs. Goss retired from Sir Shirt Maker in Pickens and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sons, Randy and Tim McAlister; seven daughters, Carolyn Hill, Elaine Perry, Ann Ryan, Tammy Gilliland, Darlene Goss, Loretta Goss and Debbie Lesley; a brother, Joe Medlin; two grandchildren whom she raised, Brian Summers and Heather Dalton; thirty-seven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goss was predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. McAlister, two sons, Miles Lester Goss, Jr., and James Donald McAlister, by three brothers, Jim Frank Medlin, Raymond Medlin and J.T. Medlin, one sister, Corrine Hedding and by three grandchildren, Steve Yeager, Jamie McAlister and Micheal Karra. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Seneca. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The family is at the home of Loretta Goss, 407 West Front Street, Liberty, SC 29657.
