Grace Haremza Obituary
Grace A. Haremza, 68 of Clyde Township, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
She was born November 15, 1947 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Grace Brancaleone. She married Leonard Haremza on April 19, 1969 in Detroit.
Mrs. Haremza enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, traveling and spending time at the family cottage. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; a daughter, Nancy (Fred) Winzer; a son, Conrad Haremza; four grandchildren, Taylor Winzer, Kaitlyn Winzer, Mollie Haremza and Collin Haremza; two brothers, Anthony (Laurie) Brancaleone and Joseph Brancaleone; a sister, Catherine Lewandowski; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Karen Stockwell.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. Thursday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Haremza will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Brancaleone, Richard Reincke, Chuck Stoll, Fred Winzer and Max Stoll.
