Grace Jurkowski, age 83, of Neillsville, WI, died Thursday, September 21, 2024, at her home.
Grace Elizabeth Preston was born on July 4, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Howard Orlo and Beatrice Grace (nee McNulty) Preston. She was united in marriage to Ronald J. Jurkowski on November 11, 1961. Grace was a stay-at-home Mother and raised her family in the Milwaukee area. Her husband died in 2011, and a few years later, she moved to Neillsville.
Grace was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Neillsville, and enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, drawing, painting, bead work and other various arts and crafts.
She is survived by her five children, Mary (Jim) Welch of Waukesha, WI, Juanita Quartullo of Neillsville, WI, Judith Jurkowski of Waukesha, WI, Ronald (Debra) Jurkowski of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Jonathon Jurskowski of Milwaukee, WI, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a sister, Bonnie (Ronald) Westfahl of Big Ben, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son-in-law, Dominic Quartullo and two brothers, Howard (Sheila) Preston and Arthur (Anita) Preston.
Funeral Services for Grace will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Bible Baptist Church in Neillsville, WI. Kit Droste will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday at the Bible Baptist Church. A livestream of the funeral service can be viewed at www.geschefh.com, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Ron Jurkowski, Jim Welch, Morgan Gill, Brad Kempf, Caleb Kempf and Ray Anderson.
