Grace Lawrence Obituary
She was born on Nov. 10, 1927, at Lee Springs. She married the love of her life James E Lawrence, on March 20, 1954, in Los Angeles, Calif., after he returned from Korea.
She and James owned and operated Modern Cabinet Shop in Pine Bluff for many years. They were married for 69 years until his death in 2024.
Grace was most proud of her family. She leaves her daughters Debbie Holmberg (Rick Kron) and Vickie Kennedy (Jim), her grandchildren, Shannon Green (Kenneth) and Kelley McMillan (John), and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Green and Abigail McMillan.
Grace attended school at Watson Chapel and was proud to be Valedictorian of her 8th grade class. She graduated from Star City High School where she played on the Bulldogs basketball team in 1946. She later played softball for Sunbeam Bakery and attended Modern School of Business.
There will be no services at this time.
