Grace Lee Henderson Scott, age 94, of Center, KY, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at NHC Health Care in Glasgow. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and also worked as a seamstress for the American Needle Craft in Greensburg, KY. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She was the daughter of the late Noah Henderson and the late Vera Jolly Henderson.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 2015, Lennis Scott; sisters, Alma Lyle, Tara Stotts, Opal Scott, Adelia Wisdom; two infant sisters; one brother, Jack Henderson.
She is survived by her two sons, Gary Scott and his wife Teresa, Hardyville, KY, Michael Scott and his wife Ruth, Henderson, KY; six grandchildren, Ross Scott (Erin), Tyler Scott (Andria Adams), Patrick Scott (Jennifer Huffman), Nathana Scheller (Zach), Benjamin Scott, Suzanne O'Nan (Eric); 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Fields officiating. Burial will follow at the Atwell-Rock Cemetery.
