Grace Margaret Molenaar, 98, of New London, died Sunday, July 13th at Cura of Willmar. Her memorial service will be at 10:30 am, Friday, July 18th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home and continue one hour prior to her service. Burial will be at a later date are Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. www.hafh.org

Grace Margaret Molenaar was born April 10, 1927, to Chris and Laura (Throndson) Sorenson on the family farm near Sissetson. She attended country school until the 8th grade by Sisseton. After her schooling she started working for Northwestern Bell Telephone in Aberdeen. She eventually transferred to Atwater and finished her career in Willmar. On September 8, 1967, Grace was united in marriage to Vernon Molenaar in Willmar. They made their home on the Molenaar family farm near Prinsburg until moving to their lake home on Lake Andrew in 2006. Grace enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed traveling with Vernon to northern Minnesota where they would go camping and sight-seeing. Grace was a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend.

Grace is survived by her sister, Elma Mosier of Aberdeen, SD; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; four brothers and seven sisters.
